🕊 Honorary Mention – Mona Metaverse Challenge

“You enter a glimmering neural temple. Above you, fragments float. Below you, sound sings. The longer you stay, the more it moves.”

AWARENESS is the second chapter of THE GARDEN, a virtual art-game experience created in Blender and Unity for the Monaverse metaverse. Designed as a spatial riddle wrapped in poetic geometry, this chapter explores the metaphysical through an interactive system of glassy bubbles, mandalas, floating orbs, and a shimmering head.

The structure is inspired by the Tree of Life and functions as a digital ritual:

🌸Players must avoid fast-moving “bubble beings” that reset their progress.
🌸9 stationary safe zones (bubbles) contain mandalas needed to unlock the main portal.
🌸Inside, a sound installation awaits: a fractured VFX tutorial becomes a poetic voice performance, with words on “constriction” and release.

Awareness is a contemplative space of rhythm, perception, and dreamlike cyber-organic textures, developed in collaboration for the gameplay with a developer. Though incomplete due to Mona’s shift away from metaverse support, it stands as a core foundation for the later SONIC PLANET.
