REBIRTH-23 | 01- The Original Art Installation for Decentraland Music Fest

Rebirth is the foundational chapter of the Sonic Planet saga, a cozy-game narrative adventure grounded in Hard Sci-Fi and surreal environments. It draws from music and neurology research for pain management, and connectome digitization.
🦋Rebirth 2023 (The Act of Being Born): Originally commissioned for the Decentraland Music Fest'23, this installation symbolized the mystical act of emergence. AVA, a synthetic humanoid life form, emerged from a spinning music disc—a symbolic centerpiece representing the eternal rotation of cycles, the physical storage of data, memories, and DNA, and the vital importance of music for neurological health and emotional well-being. Adorned with a headpiece of metallic origami butterflies, this "papiroflexia" represented AVA's mind, memories, and spirit, creating a direct symbolic connection to the radiant Ouroboros halo behind her—whose own head was composed of three large metallic butterflies. It represented a "Regeneration" maintained in a timeless, perpetual state—an ongoing cycle of healing and transformation that remains active and unfinished, capturing a peak of mystical and angelical transcendence. It integrated 8 EDM music tracks, composed for this original piece, as an interactive jukebox experience mini-game.
